When a land settlement claim puts Little Snake Reserve in charge of the all-white town of Fort Adams next door, the only guy both populations can agree on to take charge is Little Snake’s fading hockey great Steve Poitras. But Steve only knows hockey, and stick handling his way between the Indigenous Way and the White Way is several leagues higher than his skillset.  Think “Parks and Rec,” with a little bit of “Northern Exposure.”
